Launch party for a line of Indian products, with guest chef Maunika Gowardhan.
In June 2019, we launched our Indian products line at the Tel Aviv Convention Center.
Our guest at the event was chef Maunika Gowardhan, famous for being on Jamie Oliver's team.
Chef Gowardhan, who has a popular Indian cooking blog with thousands of followers, held a cooking demonstration for prominent Israeli restaurateurs and chefs. During the event, he revealed some of his secrets of Indian cooking. The chef emphasized how simple it is to prepare the dishes using ready-to-use ingredients. The guests left ecstatic!
"India encompasses the enormous Asian sub-continent, and each group of villages has a slightly different cooking tradition. What unifies this extensive and diverse cuisine is the use of spices, raw ingredients and techniques which are prevalent almost everywhere. Israelis have a good hand with spices, and they eat spicy food, so they will surely fall in love with Indian cuisine," said Gowardhan.
